Make Space Storage Celebrates Customer Appreciation Day on May 27th
At Make Space Storage, we believe that our customers are at the heart of our business. Without their patronage and loyalty, we wouldn't be where we are today. That’s why at the end of this month, select Make Space Storage locations across Canada will welcome customers to celebrate Customer Appreciation Day!
On Saturday, May 27th, we'll be opening our doors across the country to all our valued customers for a day of celebration and gratitude. All participating locations will be rewarding customers with discounts and the chance to win a free year of storage. Many of our locations are also hosting garage sales, raffling off BBQ's, and more! We are celebrating Customer Appreciation Day at 17 locations across the country and you can find your closest location here.
Here's what you can expect at Make Space Storage’s first cross-country Customer Appreciation Day:
Scratch and Save Cards
As a token of our appreciation, everyone who attends our Customer Appreciation Day will receive a scratcher which will allow them to scratch and save up to 25% off one month’s storage rental fee. Every scratcher is a winner! This discount is applicable to any of our self-storage units, portable storage units and to our RV and Boat parking. Don’t miss out – scratchers are limited and first come, first served. Will you be the lucky scratcher and save big on your next month’s rental fee?
Garage Sales
Another reason you won’t want to be late to these community events is that many of our facilities will be hosting a community garage sale! As I’m sure you know, at any garage sale it’s the best items that are the first to go. Are you looking for that perfect vintage item, or a great deal on books, cookware, or electronics? Tenants across the country are opening their units up to sell, sell, sell. You never know what treasures you could uncover on Customer Appreciation Day! And don’t worry about buying too much, we can always find you the perfect self storage unit for you to store your new treasures.
In British Columbia we’re hosting community garage sales in Port Coquitlam and Prince George (Hartway Drive location). In Alberta, our Edmonton location is excited to welcome buyers and sellers. In Saskatchewan, you can check out community garage sales in Regina (White City location), Prince Albert, and Estevan (Devonian location). In Manitoba, our Winnipeg location will be hosting a community collectables and garage sale. If you’re in Ontario we’re hosting garage sales in Belleville, Carleton Place (Hwy 7 location), Grimsby, Kitchener, Pembroke, and Ottawa.
If you’re near our Windsor, Ontario location don’t miss their community art sale with door prizes donated from neighbouring businesses. Proceeds from the door prize draw will go to Erie Wildlife Rescue and the Windsor/Essex Humane Society.
Community Partnerships
At Make Space Storage we know the importance of being connected to the communities we serve. These community events have created even more opportunities to support our neighbouring businesses and non-profits. Here are just a couple more examples of these exciting partnerships:
Our Pembroke, Ontario location has teamed up with their local SPCA branch to raise funds for our furry friends.
And our Regina, Saskatchewan location is partnering with the Ranch Ehrlo Sports Venture for a community BBQ with proceeds going back to the society. Ranch Ehrlo Society is a non-profit organization that operates group living, clinical, family, community, and educational programs across Saskatchewan. Donate at the event for a chance to win Roughriders tickets!

Prize Drawings
To cap off the day of celebration, all our participating locations will be raffling off one year of free storage! That’s right, all attendees will be able to enter a raffle to win not one month, not six months, but one full year of free storage!
Many of our locations will also be raffling off a free BBQ as well, and since Summer is here, what better way is there to celebrate than with a new BBQ? We're giving away a brand-new grill and all you have to do is join us at one of our participating Make Space Storage locations on May 27th and enter the draw to win! Everyone who joins us will have a chance to enter the raffle.
