The holiday season is just around the corner, and we are thrilled to kick off our Annual Holiday Food Drive!
This beloved tradition brings our team and community together to support those in need. From November 1st to December 6th, we’ll be collecting food and financial donations for food banks across Canada.
Why This Matters: The Need for Support
Food banks across Canada are experiencing record-breaking demand. More individuals and families than ever are relying on their services for essential food and supplies. According to Food Banks Canada, almost 2 million Canadians visit food banks each month. Your donations during our Holiday Food Drive will help meet these immediate needs and support long-term solutions to combat food insecurity.
How We’re Making a Difference Together
Every year, we break the company into four competitive teams—Team West, Team East, Team Woodbridge, and Team HQ—competing to see who can gather the most donations and make the biggest impact. This friendly competition fuels our collective efforts to make a real difference in our communities.
Donations of non-perishable food items, along with pantry and hygiene essentials, can be made at any Make Space Storage facility and will go directly to the local food bank in that area. If you prefer to donate online, please donate here, these donations go directly to Food Banks Canada to support their nationwide efforts. Plus, any donations of $10 or more made online to Food Banks Canada will receive a tax receipt.
Matching Donations for Even Greater Impact
We’re excited to announce that Make Space will match all financial donations up to $20,000, doubling the impact of every dollar donated! This means your contributions will go even further in helping families access the food and support they need during the holiday season.

If you're in the Greater Toronto area on November 30th, stop by our Drive-Through Food Drive at our Tire Hotel location! Visit us at 151 Royal Group Crescent, Woodbridge, where we’ll be collecting non-perishable food items, pantry essentials, hygiene products, and financial donations.
