Our story.

Our story began in 2004 with a single self-storage facility in Pender Harbour, BC, created to offer a secure storage solution for the local community. As demand grew, the business expanded into the shipping container market, eventually launching Coast Storage and Containers in 2016. With continued growth across Canada, the focus shifted toward acquiring and improving self-storage facilities, leading to a refined and scalable business model.

In 2017, the Make Space Storage brand was born, marking the start of a new chapter. With a strong foundation in place, the company expanded its offerings to include self-storage, portable storage, vehicle storage, and more. Today, Make Space Storage operates over 55 locations across six provinces, proudly serving both residential and commercial customers with flexible and innovative storage solutions.
