Are you ready to have a container delivered?

We want your container delivery to go smoothly. Below are the space and accessibility requirements that need to be in place before delivery. Please review these ahead of time to prevent delays or extra charges.

Delivery & return checklist:
  • Ensure clear width & height for the delivery trailer and container.
  • Confirm straight-line clearance (truck + trailer + container length).
  • Consider the door orientation (which way you would like to access it).
  • Prepare the ground surface (driveway, pad, gravel) and remove obstructions (vehicles, tree branches, etc.).
  • Let us know in advance when you’d like to return your container or would like to move it.

Requirements by container size:

20' containers.
    • Width: At least 14 ft. Though the deck is 12 ft wide, we need about 1 ft of clearance on each side.
    • Height: Maximum 18 ft. The deck lifts to this height during placement.
    • Straight-line length: At least 65 ft
40' containers.
    • Width: Minimum 14 ft. Though the deck is 12 ft wide, we need about 1 ft of clearance on each side.
    • Height: Maximum 18 ft. The deck lifts to this height during placement.
    • Straight-line length: At least 110 ft.

Please Note:

Our delivery team will assess the site upon arrival to ensure it meets the required standards for safe placement. If there are issues (e.g. ground instability or unexpected obstructions), they may need to adjust or reschedule, or place the container in a different spot if possible.

How to return your container or request a move.

When you’re ready to return your container, simply give us a call and our portable storage specialists will help schedule a convenient pickup date and time. Please note that we require a minimum of 3 business days’ notice for all container returns

 

If you’d like to move your container to another location, we also require at least 3 business days’ notice to schedule the pickup and delivery. Additional fees apply for this service.

What sizes of portable storage units do you have available.

We offer 20’ containers at most of our locations that offer a portable storage service, with options for 40’ containers and 20' mobile offices in select areas. These units are ideal for moving, renovations, or long-term storage.

How does delivery and pickup work?

For delivery, we'll drop the container at your location, you load it at your own pace, and then when you're done and want it moved away, just give us a call and we'll schedule a pickup to pick it up or transport - wherever you need it next.

How long can I rent a container for?

You can rent the container as long as you need it. Just keep in mind that our rentals are based on a 4-week (28-day) recurring cycle.
