Our story.
Our story began in 2004 with a single self-storage facility in Pender Harbour, BC, created to offer a secure storage solution for the local community. As demand grew, the business expanded into the shipping container market, eventually launching Coast Storage and Containers in 2016. With continued growth across Canada, the focus shifted toward acquiring and improving self-storage facilities, leading to a refined and scalable business model.
In 2017, the Make Space Storage brand was born, marking the start of a new chapter. With a strong foundation in place, the company expanded its offerings to include self-storage, portable storage, vehicle storage, and more. I recently finished a unit rental at the Cameron location. The pricing, security and accessibility of my unit was great. I cannot rave enough about the wonderful customer service my partner and I received from Ed. Every roadblock I had stumbled upon during my time there, he worked with me to figure things out and made the entirety of my experience stress-free. We all have our stressors and daily challenges, but excellent customer service can really turn your day around. He did that with every interaction we had and I am greatly appreciative of that.
